The Palm - Los Angeles Downtown is located one block east of the Staples Center and housed in the historic Toy Center on the southeast corner of Flower and 11th Streets. The Palm provides seating for approximately 400 patrons and occupies 13,500 square feet. The Palm is renowned for prime beef, jumbo lobsters and authentic Italian fare and is open seven nights a week for dinner and weekdays for lunch.

Anthony J. Cotroneo, Executive Chef
Chef Cotroneo joined The Palm Family in February 2012 as Executive Chef for the Downtown LA location. He most recently was the Executive Chef for Dos Caminos in New York City, where he was promoted from Sous Chef to Executive Chef. Some highlights of his achievements during his tenure were increasing sales by $250,000, lowering food cost and reducing kitchen employee turnover. Cotroneo studied Culinary Arts in Scottsdale, AZ, and completed several apprentice programs and internships with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts while still in school. Upon graduation, he was hired by Fairmont and during the course of his seven years held positions ranging from private banquet events to a la carte dining to the opening of new restaurants within various Fairmont resorts. No stranger to steakhouses, Cotroneo also was a sous chef at The Capital Grille in Adventura, FL. We are excited and lucky to have him as part of The Palm Family!
