Willy Cellucci, General Manager

As a young man growing up in Los Angeles - and for a brief period of time in Connecticut- there was little indication of Willy Cellucci's natural proclivity for smoky saloons, loud rock-and-roll music, women and whiskey.  The fact is these traits, which were to mold his future career, were not entirely evident until he won the pinball tournament of Paris in 1973.  His winnings did not quite cover his bar tab for the four days of play; therefore he was indentured to work off his debt in a café, his first restaurant job.

Cellucci graduated from George Washington University with a degree in English and lettered on the baseball team - a remarkable feat considering no one but Cellucci and the coach could tell the difference between his fastball and his change-up.  Like many washed-up athletes with English degrees, Cellucci turned to the bright lights of the restaurant industry.  He has run restaurants in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and St. Thomas, V.I., among others.  He achieved his lifetime goal when he came to work at The Palm.  Despite his advanced years and increasing girth, he still can be found in The Atlanta Palm, extolling the virtues of the Democratic Party and the Chicago Cubs ad nauseam.  Cellucci lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and two sons.

Chris Cannizzaro, Executive Chef

Executive Chef Chris Cannizzaro possesses more than 20 years of culinary experience in major markets including New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia and the Hamptons in New York.  Cannizzaro has been with The Palm for 15 years - joining The Atlanta Palm in 1998 - and in addition to his chef duties he oversees all aspects of kitchen operations and its staff.

Cannizzaro's love of cooking led him through all levels of the restaurant business, from country clubs to quaint brasseries, and on to Johnson and Wales University, where he graduated with honors.  Since joining The Atlanta Palm, Cannizzaro has been a featured chef on CNN cooking segments, a longstanding top chef at Atlanta's annual High Museum Wine Auction Vintner's Reception and has been instrumental in earning the restaurant local media acclaim, including in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Atlanta Magazine.  He currently resides in the Atlanta area with his wife Stephanie, sons Joseph and Joshua, and daughter Isabella.
