Antonio Carrion, General Manager
Born in Cordoba, Spain, Antonio started his career in 1970 at the Hotel El Cordobes in Cordoba, Spain, and then moved to Marbella, Spain. While in Marbella, he worked at the famous luxury hotel Melia Don Pepe serving world-renowned celebrities as well as working as a Gourmet Captain at the exclusive luxury Hotel Los Monteros. Throughout his time in Marbella, he studied at the Hotel School and was nominated the youngest Captain for his abilities, knowledge, and communication skills. In 1976 desiring to learn more English and explore the world, he worked for the Carnival Cruise Lines based out of Miami, Florida. Moving to Houston, Texas later that year, he accepted a position as Captain at Brennan's of New Orleans. From 1977-86, he worked both as a food server and temporary assistant manager at The Palm Restaurant in Houston, Texas. After leaving The Palm in Houston, he worked at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona, as food server and banquet captain before settling in Las Vegas, in 1988. In Las Vegas he held the positions of Captain at the Alexis Park Resort at the Pegasus, Banquet Captain at the Mirage Resort Hotel & Casino, General Manager at Ruth Chris's Steakhouse, as well as food server at The Palm Restaurant in Las Vegas. Today, Antonio is the General Manager at The Palm in the Presidente Inter-Continental Hotel in Mexico City.
