Christopher Gilman, General Manager
Christopher started at The Palm Dallas as a Server Assistant in 1984. He worked his way up to an Assistant Manager, and in 1991, Christopher was promoted to the flagship store on Second Avenue in New York where he became the Managing Director of the original Palm and Palm Too. He was the company's first Regional Director of Operations until 2001, at which time he was named the General Manager of The Palm Westside in Times Square. Christopher opened his own successful pan-Latin restaurant in 2008 in the West Village. After 7 years of successfully running his own business, Christopher missed The Palm family and returned to his passion of managing a family-owned and operated steakhouse.

Stalin Abreu, Executive Chef
Stalin was born in the Dominican Republic with big dreams aimed at the New York culinary scene. At a tender age of 18 he began his culinary adventure as a line cook at Angelo and Maxie's where he developed his techniques. This is where his true passion for working with fine steaks was cultivated. His attention to high-quality meats and focus on fresh, local ingredients led him to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, where he continued his development as a true steak master. Stalin's passion for the industry was widely-recognized and he was quickly promoted to a Sous Chef and then Executive Chef at Maxie's Grill. He continued his career at several Manhattan restaurants including Vic and Anthony's, Bond 45 and The Palm, where he has now found his home. Stalin's philosophy is centered around simplicity and using fresh and local ingredients. He spends most of his time in the kitchen coaching and developing new chefs. In his spare time he enjoys playing with his son.

Michelle Welsh, Sales Manager
Michelle Welsh, our new Sales Manager has joined us from Morton's Steakhouse in Washington, D.C. where she worked as a Catering Sales Manager for the past five years. With over 15 years of experience in the service industry, Michelle is excited to contribute her knowledge and talent to the team at The Palm Tribeca. She has an exceptional eye for detail and eagerness to help so, you can feel comfortable leaving all the detail to her so you can enjoy your event.
